In total, Moon Valley home sales track change in ownership of well over 7,500 homes, condominiums, and townhomes in Moon Valley and other adjacent communities that have real estate closely similar to traditional Moon Valley real estate, all in close proximity to the heart of Downtown Phoenix, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, Biltmore Fashion Park, the Desert Ridge Marketplace, as well as Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter shopping and entertainment outdoor malls in Scottsdale.

Traditional Moon Valley includes approximately 3,750 homes, all on the west side of N 7th Street, south of E Thunderbird Road, north of E Greenway Boulevard, and east of the west side of Moon Mountain which is pretty much bordered by N 19th Avenue. Within traditional Moon Valley lies Moon Valley Country Club offering members dining, fitness, golf, various social activities and events, and tennis.

We define the extents of Moon Valley as having Lookout Mountain at the eastern border, in lieu of N 7th St, since Lookout Mountain physically defines the eastern end of the glen. Within these extents of Moon Valley, you pick up more elevated lots without being on Moon Mountain and many of these lots have wonderful views of the western end of Moon Valley.
