There were 375 Desert Ridge home sales during 2014 which was approximately 40 fewer sold homes than last year. Active property for sale listing inventory still remains low for the third consecutive year.
The Desert Ridge property included in our annual sales numbers still includes the real estate between Pinnacle Peak Road on the north side and the Loop 101 on the south side and all property up to 56th Street. But with developments like Estates at Ridgeview popping up west of Aviano and Fireside, we pushed the west boundary of Desert Ridge all the way to Cave Creek Road.
Of the 375 Desert Ridge home sales for 2014, 280 were single family detached Desert Ridge properties and the remaining 95 were Desert Ridge condos. Since the beginning of 2015 we have definitely seen more active buyers with more homes going into contract which is much different than last year even though we had low Desert Ridge real estate for sale inventory last year.
