I can attest to what I have heard first hand from parents I know who have their kids enrolled in Benchmark. One of my attorneys along with his family has been living in DC Ranch for the past six years and has never had his children enrolled in North Scottsdale public schools, even though they are amongst the best public schools in the state. His contention has always been that the charter schools catered to a more diverse base of school children and that the charter school was in essence, a much less expensive private school.
