Overall, the number of Desert Ridge home sales that closed during 2012 was lower than expected perhaps due to the low Desert Ridge real estate inventory levels throughout the year.
First, we want to inform you that our measure of Desert Ridge homes includes only the real estate that lies between Pinnacle Peak Road on the North side and the Loop 101 on the South side including all property up to 56th Street. So we are not including any of the homes South of the Loop 101 as Desert Ridge property.
For the year 2012, there were 441 Desert Ridge real estate sales that closed which included 73 Desert Ridge condos, one Desert Ridge patio home, 326 Desert Ridge properties classed as detached single family homes and 41 Desert Ridge townhomes. Again, this Desert Ridge real estate is in a well located area of Phoenix North of the Loop 101 with Tatum Boulevard splitting the master planned community in half.
